Going for a walk with your dog has to be one of life’s simplest pleasures. But being dragged along isn’t fun for anyone, and it can also result in injuries for both dog and owner alike.
If you’re ready to put the fun back into your dog walks, this loose lead walking workshop is exactly what you need. This workshop will provide you with the tools you need to make your lead smile, just like you will be when your dog learns that walking near you is the best place to be! We’ll cover techniques to help you to teach your dog to focus on you, and how to deal with different situations and environments.
By the end of this lead walking workshop you will:
- Have already seen improvements in your dog’s lead walking skills
- Understand the ‘ingredients’ that go into teaching your dog to walk politely on a lead
- Know how to build your dog’s attention and focus when out and about
- Be able to draw on a variety of fun and effective techniques to practice every day with your dog
Please note, all workshops require dogs to be comfortable around other dogs and people. If your dog is nervous or reactive, please contact us about 121 training.
